In a back lane in Malacca.....looks like pasar malam with money changing hands.
Different angle, and you see the happy diners.
While we waited for our turn.....
Ahhh....we finally started filling out the waste bin.
Another set of satisfied diners
Anyone else up for another round?

Tong Huey
Aaahhh - no worries, can tapau back also if needed ;)
Sorry....no problem after eating there. You have to ask Jeff and SW whether they had any lao sai.
Hei Tong Huey, if you don't like it with satay celup, then this probably isn't suitable for your palate. But if you do want to give it a try, just tell the CockleMan - SW :P
Hmmm.... if i recall correctly, this place used or is still called a particular name in a Chinese dialect. It's meaning is something to do with carrying of human faeces ... because of the people that had a job doing this & used the street to get to the place to dump it!!
There's a little bit of history for u folks!
(No wonder SW enjoys the juicy see hum ....Pun intended!!)
tong huey, you belum cuba you tak tau. (not yet try, you don't know). must try.
mr cockleman is always ready to have more! BTW, mr cockleman didn't have any problems with the tummy after that.
AH, whenever you are in melaka and we happen to be there, you can always leave your kiddos with me and you can go enjoy.
its called 'See Hang Gai'... :- >>
Btw, I always have a little chuckle about this article in The Star a few years back about this Selangor DUN called YB Tang See Hang.
Apparently after 03/08, he got tired of waiting and is now seen fleetingly at the above eponymously named street in Malacca selling cockles ;-)
