Meeting with Ravi

After sometime away from the shores of Malaysia, we had to "re-educate" Ravi on a few finer points of surviving on the road.

Below are the guys who met up with Ravi on a sunny and breezy Saturday (27/1) at Winston's new work place. Ravi flew back that same evening....back to the cold and snow of Michigan.

L2R: chong, sunny, ooisw, winston, ravi.

Lunch was courtesy of the new boss in town ;)

Meanwhile, best wishes to Ravi and do inform us on your next trip back.

Lenny was back in Malaysia

Our friend Lenny was back from London for a quick family trip. After some last minute planning, we did manage to meet up in 1Utama for dinner.

Below are the pictures taken from Szue Fei's blog.

That's me, Szue Fei, SW, Susan, little Jessica, Lenny & Simon Loh.

That's the parents parade!

A great shot taken by Simon, the pro photographer.

3 guys and a baby!

Ok, next up, I would put up photos of another "visitor" from a land that some said the vikings discovered, or maybe the chinese....whatever...

More January Updates coming up.....

OK, lots of things happened over the weekend. Meetings with Lenny, Ravi and small pre-CNY gathering at JIKI. However, I do not have broadband connection in Malacca, so all the photos have to wait till I get back to KL.

To those of you who have just dropped by, do let us know by making a comment, or adding to the chat box.

Till then, have a nice Sunday. Cheers.

Message from Mikey

CKG: This was actually posted as a comment on Eric's entry but since it's so long, I figure it should have it's on entry. Mikey, if you email me, I would add you to this blog so that you do your own entry here.

hehey guys and gals!!!,

Here's wishing you ppl a very merry and happy and prosperous 2007!

First time I'm here though with thanks to Shirrene.

Well we had a good time catcing up that night yeah. Sad about Grace who was suffering from food poisoning :(

Met up with Eric only once in S'pore and it was really good to see him again. BTW I've got a place in Sengkang now which is near to Eric's place and also Gilbert Khoo (I think).

Tony was a real badass and went straight to the kitchen and back door to survey Dan's place?! (Probably part-time property agent ha ha). Then someone opened the washing machine and found (presumably) Dan's underclothing! (or was it Grace's. hmmm...)

Anyway we got to talking rot as usual and I really must say it always brings a smile to my face to meet up as I only come back to Malacca probably 3-4 times a year.

So dear friends, I'm getting married (its my turn, finally phew!). Should be on 9th June 07. A church marriage (at St. Peters', I hope) followed by lunch at Bei Zhan, Melaka Raya. I really hope you guys can make it. It won't be anything grand, just a simple affair. I will be throwing another in S'pore on 7th July 07 but thats another story.

Was back for Christmas on 24th, sadly down with diarrhea myself (what's with the stomach problem going around anyway) and met up with Shirrene, Rainon, Winston, Daniel and Grace. Was at the Teppanyaki restaurant in Mahkota Parade, followed by a round, oops sorry 2 rounds of bowling. Haven't played in ages! Anyway Winston was outstanding!(best among the worst, ha ha ha - down boy, down boy) and the rest of us was just trying to bowl straight. Anyway the longkang lane left and right was pretty bzy though ha ha....

Just got back to S'pore yesterday and am bzy with the flat renovation works as well as the wedding prep.

Till then God Bless,
MikeyPublish
