hmm...we had a crab feast too when daniel and grace visited singapore 2 weeks ago. looks like the poor crabs are the no.1 sacrifice when old friends meet up. maybe next time have a crab feast/ makan also for the SFI 20th anniversary. ;-)
Woi put some photos up lah....
Some NGO would probably petition to have our reunion cancelled...either the crabs or the cockles. Aquatic life isn't safe around us. I'm having second thoughts about having the anniversary celebration on a cruise liner then....you know how karma's a bitch.
eric... "woi"
cruise liner is definitely out of the question then...
I was hoping to see Akira and family down south here for the New Year too.... there's always another time eh?
Btw, sorry folks, no pics of Operation Crabby, Singapore. I forgot my camera (!!) and the mobile phone was unreliable.
Remembering that day, I was kinda sore that the sickening riverfront at Esplanade got all boardered up for some goodness knows what construction (didn't know when I made the booking for outdoor seats) that we decided to move away from al fresco dining into the indoor seats at the No Signboard Seafood Restaurant (yeah weird shop name).
Despite the disappointment, the crabs were good and I can't forget the drunken prawns till now. Anyone interested to have a try here? Haha, room and board provided! kekeke
