Jonker Walk before Chinese New Year 2008

Well, for those of you who haven't been back to Malacca for long long time, here's how Jonker Walk looks like now. It's a short blog by Szue Fei entitled A Night @ Jonker Walk.

For those of you IN Malacca, I encourage you to put up photos of your own either here or on your own blog so that your friends who are freezing their a%$ off in Michigan or London could see the colourful lights of historical Malacca ;-)

OK, I need to sleep now. More writeups and much delayed photos later.

All boys have heroes. Now let's analyze them and see which ones would smile for the camera....

Will you smile before going into a blazing house? Are u a freaking maniac?

Does he?

Will they?

A smirk maybe...

Not before we give it to them krauts...

Will he?...it?....whatever....

So, do boys have a problem with smiling for the camera?

Definately NOT! We just think it's uncool to do it ;-)
....ok except for Michael Tee and Daniel Yap....not sure what they were smiling about though...

OK, fast forward a few more years, and a bit of a tweak to the hormone mixtures. To the time when we now think that the photos would be seen by the likes of....

...and their classmates....

Hence lots of kilowatt smile, enough to power up a small town.

Yes, it quite obvious some of those Colgate models got lucky the previous week. Click on the picture to ID them.

Ok, here's your wish Szue Fei, just please don't kill anyone.

Go on scroll downwards, don't be lazy.....

Just a little bit more....

Oh just a bit lower....

Perhaps a bit further down south....

Getting there....

Oh Darn! Too far south!

There he is below....click for a bigger picture.

Well if your fetish is uniforms, then I suggest Bee Loon, the shop we always use to buy from down in Malacca ;)

Hmmmm I wonder whether I would get any luckier in Zouk if I go in uniform.....

Christmas at the Ooi's

The Ooi's had a Christmas BBQ gathering in Malacca and I was lucky to be invited (and happen to be in Malacca too).

Below is the opening ceremony by the master chef!

Hehehe sorry that was actually photoshopped :-)

A peak at what Szue Fei cooked up!

The resulting delicious, mouth watering lamb chops!

The also very delicious pork belly.

Who I bummed into...

I was recently in Singapore for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon and was waiting for the bus back to KL at the HarbourFront when I saw our dear friend Patrick Yeo walking towards me. He being an employee of the sponsoring bank had participated in the 10km run as well! So there we were both aching from our runs in the morning catching up on each other and coincidentally he had the seat behind mine.

Thanks Pat, for the ride back.

KL/PJ TT session...

After a short discussion with our just returned Patrick Ng and Shien Wei, we've decided to have a small get together among our ex-classmates in Klang Valley this Saturday (24/11) somewhere in SS2.

1. CKG - attending
2. OoiSW - attending
3. ChongHS - will reply on Thursday
4. PatrickNg - should be attending
5. JasonL - No, had plans arranged
6. AdrianChan - No reply
7. Joshua Tay -
8. Roger Lim -

Did I miss anyone? Sorry, if I did, or if anyone of you are visiting KL during that weekend, just drop me a note ok?

Edited 28 November 2007: The gathering was postponed because only HwaSiong can turn up, with Patrick coming in after his annual dinner. ShienWei FFK because he had to work late trying to ensure AirAsia's plane goes out with the recommended number of engines.
