Mini CNY Gathering - Everly Resort

We had a mini CNY gathering on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year in Everly Resort. It's a bit of a rushed arrangement and due to the date where most guys have to go back to their in-law's place, we only managed to round up a few of the hardcore group as shown below...



But of course the Ong Family was also present....

And the Chow family was also present but silly me forgot to snap a photo with them.

We had a great buffet lunch and chit chat about the latest going ons with Geok Pin giving us an insight into fatherhood (hope you took lots of notes, Daniel).

Of course the reason we had it in Everly was because our good buddy, Winston works there now.




And since he had staff pricing, we had a great buffet at a terrific price. Will be there again next year, right Winston?

Chinese New Year Updates

Hi to everyone and Happy Chinese New Year to all those celebrating. Hope you have all enjoyed yourself (or to rub it in, still enjoying yourself - like me!). Some of you now would be counting your losses from the mahjong tables to the fact that you now have to give out ang pows, while some of you would still be counting the ang pows you have received ;)

This year has been rather quiet, probably due to CNY falling on the weekends. For our group, only a few turned up for the meet up in Everly Resort. Due to bandwidth constraint (I am on dialup now), I would only post the writeup and photos some time next week. But it was a fantastic buffet lunch at an incredible price.....we should have it again next year!

Bravo if you have continued reading till this paragraph. Now, find The Star newspaper and turn to the TV section. Look for the photo of your ex-classmate. It was on yesterday....see whether you can spot it today! Let's see whose response is the fastest.....sorry for those people in UK and Australia, you would have to depend on your pals in Malaysia.

Meeting at JIKI - 27 January 2007

The guys were nice enough to meet up again at night for a second round of Milo (yeah, most of them were sober throughout their own weddings, so we're pretty dry).

Lenny was back in Malaysia

Our friend Lenny was back from London for a quick family trip. After some last minute planning, we did manage to meet up in 1Utama for dinner.
